We're a pair of expatriated Scotsmen living in the wilds of north eastern Europe and, while not great experts in the field of whisky, we regularly enjoy a wee goldie or two!
Having experienced all of the big names of the Scottish whisky game (High Commissioner, Scottish Leader, Tesco Special Reserve etc etc) we were thrilled to discover the extensive range of export only and foreign whiskies that abound on the continent. The aim of this blog is to catalogue any exciting looking drams we discover on our travels around our adoptive homeland as well as further afield.
We'll endeavour to taste as many as possible so as to provide anyone looking to learn about really great whisky with all the information required to make informed purchases and/or sound like an expert in the pub.
